Working on the Pueblo Project for 2 weeks over the summer was just the most amazing experience of my life so far. Pueblo has so many different dimensions, each as valuable as the other. Whether you are hammering a wall on the building site, helping the kids to improve their English, washing your hair in the village river, drinking Brugal and learning dance moves with the locals or simply lying in the hut and looking at stars, Pueblo has so much to offer and has a great balance between work and play. The project is a fantastic vision and I cannot wait to get back and keep working on it....2 weeks is not long enough!

Project Pueblo was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever been involved with. You work in the village, directly with the people who you are helping, which means that you can see it in their faces how much appreciation and love they have for you and the work that you are doing. The children of the Dominican Republic - who we worked and played with every day - are unbelievable. The happiness they have, even though they are so impoverished, is unbeatable, on any part of the world I've seen. If you want a unique experience that will inspire you to do a little better in the world - project pueblo is exactly what you're looking for.

Working for PUEBLO was one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences of my life. The project offered a mixture of hard work along with lots of fun. Everything from building, pick axing, mixing meglar, teaching the children, playing with the children, singing and dancing with the locals was life changing, and living in the hut was an experience all on its own. I feel both lucky and privileged to have been able to meet and help the people of the village. Ist’s an experience i will never forget.

P.U.E.B.L.O for me has opened up my eyes to life! to see how the community were living and how high the spirits of them all were was priceless!!! it was a life changing experience and i wish it had lasted longer. everytime their faces light up at seeing you and everytime the children remember something from which you have taught them makes everything that little bit more special!! everyone over there holds a special part of my heart and have taught me so much!

Working on Pueblo Project was by far the most rewarding and fun experience of my life. Nothing can compare to living in a hut and connecting with locals despite language barriers, or meeting life long friends from around the world. Wether it's holding the hand of a small child, who looks at you with eyes of adoration or chiseling into a wall of cement and knowing that child will soon have a solid home to live in is something I wish everyone could experience. The feelings of happiness, peace, motivation, and the continual strive to make living conditions better for the families in Arroyo Blanco is something I hold within me everyday. I only wait for the day I can come back to the Domincan Republic and visit the local friends I made and help to improve the lives of as many people as I can.

The time I spent in the Dominican Republic working for PUEBLO was the best thing I have ever done and probably will ever do. The experience has changed my whole perspective towards my life and what I want to do in the future. I met some of the most amazing people in the villagers of Arroyo Blanco (who make the best coffee in the world) but also the volunteers and staff! My first time visiting the village I was greeted with warm hugs as if I had known them all my life and when I left I felt as if I had (even though I didn’t speak a word of Spanish!). It opened my eyes to a different world that I could have spent the rest of my life in just to watch the kids grow up. Not only did I get to mix cement and build a house but I got to have an amazing time doing it, hiking, wakeboarding, swimming, jumping of high things, canyoning and that wasn’t even the adventure tour! I have never felt more comfortable and at home than when I was staying in the hut and I have made some friends for life. The Dominican Republic is one of the most beautiful places in the world and has everything you could want from a trip. I have achieved things I never thought possible and I am proud to say I have been a part of PUEBLO
